We are looking for a senior developer for the maintenance and further development of a Linux recovery system for servers in rail vehicles.

The task includes the support of a specialized recovery operating system, which is used to repair hardware defects and to carry out new installations in a demanding mobile environment.

Germany Your tasks • Programming / implementation / customising of technical components in applications based on the technologies used including associated interfaces, modules and corresponding databases in compliance with the standards of the client (e.g. use of standardised development environments and programming guidelines) • Elimination of errors from the test phases in the applications / components • Documentation of the technical components • Creation of system documentation • Creation of delivery packages for the relevant applications • Analysis of actual systems, applications and architectures as well as technical assessment of their suitability with regard to the defined target architecture specifications • Design of functional interfaces between applications and processes • Configuration of a Linux boot loader (GRUB) • Development of system functions in a hardware-related environment • Integration and testing of Linux drivers • Testing and debugging of
