Strictly's Neil Jones offers glimpse inside lavish Italian wedding to Chyna Mills without family

Neil Jones and Chyna Mills have been a familiar sight in British entertainment circles for the past four years, their love story unfolding in the public eye as they navigated the ups and downs of their relationship. But on July 1, 2026, the Strictly Come Dancing pro and Love Island star sealed their love with a sweet ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall in London, finalising their legal marriage with a close-knit group of friends and BBC co-stars in attendance. Just days later, the couple jetted off to Italy for a second round of celebrations, this time at the luxurious Villa San Michele in Florence.
The second wedding ceremony, which took place at Villa San Michele, was a far cry from the intimate affair in London. According to Chyna Mills' Instagram post, the newlyweds were surrounded by opulence, with the bride walking down the aisle draped in velvet red curtains and flanked by beautiful rose bouquet arrangements. The choreographer, Neil Jones, looked dashing in a cream jacket and black bowtie, his eyes fixed lovingly on his bride as she made her way to him. Their four-year-old daughter, Havana, was also present, looking adorable in a white dress as she held her father's hand.
The second wedding ceremony, however, seemed to be a family affair of one. Excluding Neil, Chyna, and their daughter, the ceremony appeared to be devoid of guests, leaving fellow TV stars to congratulate the couple in the comments section of Chyna's Instagram post. Oti Mabuse, a fellow Strictly Come Dancing star, wrote "You look like the most beautiful bride ❤️ congratulations," while Alexis Warr added "Absolute PERFECTION!😍🤍." The lack of family members in attendance was a stark contrast to the couple's first wedding, which was reportedly banned from due to a rift between Neil's family and Chyna.
Chyna had previously accused Neil's mother of 'bullying, racism, and disrespect', leading to a reported rift between the two families. Neil allegedly did not even tell his parents or sister that he was getting hitched, sparking a bitter family dispute. Speaking earlier this month, a source told The Sun that 'the whole thing is a massive shame', adding that Neil's 'close and extended family were all there when he married his first wife, Katya Jones', in 2013; they divorced in 2019. 'It makes it even more painful that they have now been cut out completely,' the source continued. 'Most of them have been blocked by Chyna and Neil, so really have no idea what is going on in their lives at all, let alone about their wedding.'
As a writer, I couldn't help but notice the stark contrast between the couple's two weddings. The second ceremony, while lavish and opulent, seemed to be a far cry from the intimate affair in London. One can't help but wonder what the future holds for the couple, and whether their family dispute will be resolved in the coming months.
Despite the challenges they face, it's clear that Neil and Chyna are committed to their love for each other. As they begin their new life together, they'll undoubtedly face many more ups and downs. But for now, they can celebrate their love and each other, surrounded by the beauty and luxury of Italy.
The couple's decision to hold a second wedding ceremony, despite the family dispute, raises questions about the future of their relationship with Neil's family. While it's unclear how things will play out, one thing is certain: Neil and Chyna are determined to make their love work, no matter what challenges come their way.
