(Senior) Firewall Specialist (m/w/d)

Together with our partner, an internationally active industrial company, we are looking for a firewall specialist (m/f/d) for various locations in Germany or completely remotely from the home office as part of the further expansion of the IT security team.

In this role, you will play a central role in securing and further developing a modern network and security infrastructure.

You will work in a technologically demanding environment with a focus on Palo Alto firewalls, network security and group-wide security standards.

Tasks You design the secure operation and further development of the group-wide network and firewall infrastructure in the Palo Alto environment You supervise business-critical IT and OT environments and actively participate in the further development of the security architecture You set exciting projects around the harmonization and automation of the group-wide firewall architecture and network security You analyze and process security incidents, service requests and customer requirements in the area of network and firewall infrastructure You take responsibility for patch management, lifecycle management and the continuous optimization of the existing security infrastructure You work closely with internal departments and support the team in operational operations Qualification You have completed training/a degree in IT or a comparable qualification;
