You know the type of person who helps a lost cat find its way home, or picks up a lost wallet on the street? Well, meet Geoff Guy, a local Arizona man who recently displayed some solid rock 'n' roll karma by returning Alice Cooper's lost credit card with a signed copy of his latest album!
Alice Cooper, the legendary rocker, had been golfing in the Payson area when he lost his credit card at a gas station after leaving it at a pump. I mean, it's easy to misplace things when you're on the go, right? Luckily for Cooper, Geoff Guy, a member of the good Samaritan squad, found the card and was determined to get it back to the rock legend.
According to Geoff Guy, his wife suggested he call Cooper's Phoenix-based charity, the Alice Cooper Solid Rock Teen Center, to try and return the lost credit card. And, as luck would have it, Guy was able to get the card back to Cooper on Monday, June 8, just before Cooper set off on his European tour. As a token of appreciation, Cooper sent Guy a signed copy of his latest album, The Revenge Of Alice Cooper. "The guy is a legend for people of my generation, that's for sure, and I'm really glad I could help get it back to him," Guy told 12News. Now, that's what I call rock 'n' roll karma!
Cooper's recent adventure with Geoff Guy is just one of many exciting things happening for the rock legend. He's been making headlines with the announcement of his upcoming autobiography, Devil On My Shoulder, which will be published by Ebury Spotlight on October 8. And, to celebrate its release, Cooper will be embarking on a UK book tour, where he'll be chatting with fans and sharing some of his most fascinating stories. The tour kicks off on October 11 at the New Theatre in Cardiff and will feature stops in London, Cambridge, Brighton, and more.
Cooper's recent album release and upcoming book tour are evidence of the rock legend's enduring popularity. With a career spanning decades, Cooper has earned a reputation as one of the most iconic figures in rock music. And, with his latest album and book tour, he's showing no signs of slowing down. As for Geoff Guy, well, let's just say he's earned a spot in rock 'n' roll history!
This is a story that reminds us all that kindness still exists in this world. Geoff Guy could have easily ignored the lost credit card and moved on with his life, but he chose to do the right thing, and in doing so, earned a signed copy of Alice Cooper's latest album. Who knows, maybe this act of kindness will inspire others to do the same?
