In fact, in October of last year, Brown pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of affray in connection with an altercation at a London nightclub.

Brown and Usher's R&B Tour is generating a lot of revenue, and Avila wants a judge to order that a portion of that money be set aside to pay off her judgment. This is not a small ask, considering the tour is set to run through December and will likely rake in millions more for Brown. Avila's attorney argues that the court should freeze Brown's touring accounts to preserve her access to the funds. If that's not enough to cover the full judgment, she suggests that the court could direct the money to be paid out of Brown's music royalties, licensing revenue, merchandising, and sponsorship deals.

For Avila, this is not just about getting paid, it's about justice. She was attacked by a massive dog that was supposed to be under Brown's care, and she's still dealing with the physical and emotional fallout of that attack. The fact that Brown has been making money from his tour while she's still waiting for hers is a slap in the face. As Avila's attorney put it, "At the same time, Defendant Christopher Brown is presently engaged in an active nationwide R&B concert tour that is generating substantial revenue." It's time for Brown to pay up.
