Tommy Fury, the 27-year-old boxer, has been making waves with his latest claim, that drinking his partner Molly-Mae Hague's breast milk has resulted in a surprising physical change. This one na levels, I'm not even kidding. I've got a friend who's a huge fan of the couple, and she's been going wild on social media about this.

Tommy, who's been in the public eye since his stint on Love Island in 2019, recently launched a podcast with his dad, John Fury. In one of their episodes, the subject of breast milk came up, and Tommy revealed that he's tried it. Yep, you read that right, Tommy Fury, the boxer, has drunk his partner's breast milk. His dad, John, was less than impressed, responding with a loud "Ughhh. Oh dear me."

So, can adults drink breast milk? The World Health Organisation has guidelines for infants, stating that they should be breastfed exclusively for the first six months of life, and then continuously until two years of age and beyond. But what about adults? The organisation doesn't give any guidance on this, but a scientific study published in the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine warns against adults purchasing breast milk online. The study says that this would be "ill-advised" and poses many unknown potentials for communicable disease.

Obstetrician-gynaecologist Dr. Mary Rani Cadiz told Hello Doctor that it should be safe for someone to drink their partner's breast milk if the person breastfeeding has been cleared of any blood-borne infections such as hepatitis B and HIV. But here's the thing, Dr. Mary's advice is based on the assumption that the person breastfeeding has been tested and cleared. What about the quality of the breast milk itself? Dr. Mary says that chemicals from cigarette smoke, metabolites from medicines, and food you've eaten may affect the quality of your breast milk.

So, what did Tommy say happened after he drank Molly-Mae's breast milk? He claimed that a certain body part "doubled in size." Okay, let's get real, we don't know what that body part is, and we don't know if this is actually a real result or just a joke. But here's what I think, this is a publicity stunt, plain and simple. Tommy and Molly-Mae are always making headlines, and this is just another way to get attention.

But here's the thing, I'm not entirely sure I disagree with Tommy. I mean, if Molly-Mae has been cleared of any blood-borne infections, and she's been taking care of her diet and overall health, then maybe, just maybe, there's some truth to this. Maybe breast milk really does have some amazing benefits for adults. I'm not saying it's a miracle cure or anything, but I do think it's worth exploring further.

In the end, it's all just a big experiment, and we'll never really know the full truth. But one thing's for sure, Tommy Fury's claim has sparked a lot of interest and debate. And who knows? Maybe we'll see more adults trying out breast milk in the future.
